Default How to get a wire from the hood into cabin?

I am going to wire aftermarket DRL lights to my A6. Along with the light I am going to install dimming module. The dimming module will light up aftermarket DRLs about 50% when the headlights are turned on and 100% when the headlight are off. The module requires for one of the wires to be connected to "ignition controlled power source" meaning I need to run one wire from "headlight" area to the fuse box as it is the safest place I would think. I am planning on using "add-a-circuit" with fuse #20 in A-Pillar (windshield wiper fluid heater" which becomes hot once the key is in the ignition.

Can anyone tell me the best and easiest way to run the wire into the car's cabin? Thanks

There is a black rubber grommet on the drivers side theat leads into the cabin. On my 08 4.2 it was not being used for anything. Look under the plastic cover by the washer fluid tank.

So it is easier to find it by looking from the hood area vs. the cabin area? Anyway you take a picture of the location?

I dont think I took a picture but definitely easier under the hood. Remove the plastic cover and with a flashlight you will see it.

First i bought a set of these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT

Dimming module: http://www.europeanperformanceproduc...l.html/cat/717

Then I went to Germany (still here) and bought a set of these:
http://www.tmtuning.com/HOME/catalog...t_product=2450

(not from this company but they look exactly the same)

Once I get back to US (in two days),I will compare the Chinese lights and TM Tuning lights to see the difference. I am sure the TM are better but I haven't had a chance to compare yet plus the price difference is huge. If the difference isn't big, I will return the "TM Tuning like" lights once I am back in Germany next month. I also wanting to match the DRL to the factory headlights. TM Tuning seem "yellowish" vs. the Chinese (as I seen on some videos).

The ebay link doesn't appear to work. I bought mine from ebay too - they work great and I really like them.
