I just learned that the struts on my 2008 audi A6 have to be replaced. Audi has the car now and I was wondering how much this would cost me for Audi to do it.
Has anyone with an A6 had the struts replaced by Audi?
Also do you have to replace all four at the same time or can you just do the front?
And is it possible to just replace one?
If you have done it alone how long did it take and how much did it cost you?
I do not want to be over charged in labour cause we all know how much Audi charges for labour.
Audi just made me pay a lot of money for them to do nothing to my car so I want to make sure this doesnt happen again. I know Audi generally charges a lot.

firstly it would be foolish to replace a single strut. get all 4 changed. secondly go with the koni fsd struts, they have great reviews and seem to work very well. thirdly go to an Indy shop and you should be able to get all the struts changed for about $150-$200. other than that, enjoy... Btw you should search the forum archives to get insight, since this isa common question

I just had the dampers in my 05 4.2 replaced for $450 in labor. But I live in the NY metro area and everything is a little more expensive.
