I'll be 38 in May and my wife just turned 35 in March.
This is our first Audi.

Bought our first in 87 a new 4000cs Kalahari beige/ tan interior,3 kids a big dog and a place in the country forced us into a full size station wagon then a conversion van, flash forward to 2008 96 a6 Quattro silver/black, today 01 a6 white/tan nice to be back in a audi
we both turn the big 5 0 this year

Those are great cars you had. At least your A6 has modern electronics compared to the A8. But I <3 the A8, even that year.
My first Audi is a 1996 A4 which to this day is our most reliable car, and we have 3 Japanese cars.

I just bought my first Audi, Its a black A6 Quattro with a manual transmission (found a 95 in beautiful shape). This is a step above my previous cars, 93 Celica, 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and an 88 Corolla. I won't get to drive it until May, Im getting real antsy , any other 21 year old with a manual a6 waiting at home would be too.

My first car since starting school: 97 Honda Accord LX Sedan. Held onto it for 14 yrs.
Now: 2010 Blue A6 Prestige with cold weather and 18" Sport Package.
Love it.
