Default HVAC Fan stopped working..

I have a 2006 A6 and today it stopped blowing.. All of the gauges work and you can hear it changing the doors from say floor to window but it doesn't blow at all..
I checked the fuse and its fine. So I am guessing it probably the blower itself...

I found one place where it had a how to and it said to drop the glove box and behind it I would find the fan. Well I dropped the glove box and there is no fan there thats forsure...
Where is it located on the 06 A6? once I get it out I will test it out and see if it works before ordering a new one..

Thx

You need to go from the wiper area. There is a Air blower control module as well - maybe that is the issue in your case?

.Fresh Air BlowerRemoving
Switch off ignition.
Remove plenum chamber cover.
CAUTION!
The two valves of the pump valve unit may be hot even if the engine is cold.

Remove wiper arms and scuttle panel trim Wipers - Electrical Equipment - Repair Group 92 and panel - Body Exterior - Repair Group 50 .
Remove dome brace if necessary (not installed on all vehicles) Suspension, Wheels, Steering - Repair Group 40 .
Remove upper cover of air intake unit Air Intake Upper Cover .
Remove Fresh Air Blower Control Module J126 Fresh Air Blower Control Module .
