[QUOTE=audi40;23984638]Congrats! I also just picked up my 2010 Night Blue A6 /QUOTE]

Congrats to you. I have a black interior, but I can appreciate the look of the lovely two-tone you got. BTW - I noticed a slight wrinkling of the leather on the front passenger seat in your photo. I have a few wrinkles on the driver's seat after only 380 milies. Also, in the rear (where no one has sat yet) the leather is bunched up at the seam in one place. I am surprised after all one reads about Audi interiors. My 2006 ans 2008 A4's had no wrinles at lease end. My neighbor's 2006 Acura has absolutley no wrinkles in the leather with over 75K miles. Is this "normal" for the A6 or should I complain to the dealer at the 5K service?

I hadn't noticed the wrinkles until you pointed them out...I think the flash from the camera just made them stand out more because they are barely noticeable when looking at the seat with the naked eye. I'm very happy with the overall fit/finish/sytle of the interior...a major upgrade from my '09 A4.

If you're concerned with wrinkling in your seats, you should definitely bring it up with your dealer ASAP...I believe that Audi's warranty relative to the interior and general wear items is 1 yr/12k miles.

Sorry to disappoint, but no chip planned in the immediate future...the 300+ hp and lb ft is more than enough to motivate this car [at least for me]. Can't wait to get a few thousand miles on it and see what the engine's like when it's broken in...I'm assuming that it will get better with (mile)age just as my A4 did.

Sorry if I seemed overly negative. I got my car from stock (23 miles on the odometer) and had the choice of the Night Blue with Black interior or Black with the Black and Amaretto interior. I liked the look of the Black and Amaretto but thought it made the interior too busy and bright for my tastes (I am part bat and love a very dark interior, hence I did not get the A6 I originally wanted because of the sunroof that lets a lot of light in). I also felt the colors of the Amaretto leather and the Dark Walnut wood trim fought each other a bit. Like I said, it is a matter of taste and probably most people (including my family) would have much preferred the Black and Amaretto interior.
I am really amazed how much more substantial the A6 feels in comparison to my 2008 A4 and how more “luxurious” its dynamics are. I can see that the exterior of the A6 is more “dated” than the B8 A4’s, but overall the recent A6 updating did wonders for it. Also, the B8 A4 still has a lot of front overhang (compared to the BMW 3 series for example), so the long-ish nose on the A6 doesn’t really date it compared to the B8 A4.
Best of luck to you; the interior is growing on me just looking at your pictures.
