I'm looking at a Phantom Black A6 4.2 Sline with 19" option. MSRP is 64,500.

Default 4.2s are pretty hard to get especially in the Tx area or any where else for that matter.

Production on the A6 is being cut back in general and the 4.2 will be the first.
Don't expect to find many available.
I'm out of them and won't have any for a while!!

I have a Phantom Black 4.2 Sline (maybe)with my name on it. I'm waiting to hear back from the dealer in Austin on whether or not they can get it shipped over. Do you know why they're cutting production?

Default All I got was $500 off of MSRP plus maintenance.

I lowered the monthly lease payment by depositing three months refundable, and also making a cap reduction payment.

So how much is your actual monthly lease for the 07 4.2?

Default The car is extremely popular in Europe and they want to shift production for their main market..

Europe.
Car is popular here too but not as much and this way by cutting down production there should be less $$$ that will have to be thrown in at the end of the model year.

Default Similar to ESN...

Dealer knocked off $500, cut me a check for my last two lease payments (otherwise I was going to make them wait) and threw in the maintenance package. Great deal? No, not really, but it's pretty much the same as everyone else.

But when they threw in the winter mats, how could I walk away!!!!!

My payment is just under $850 for 36 mo lease 10K miles/year. My MSRP was around $64K.

Default How much was your cap cost reduction?

And does that $850 pyt. include any sales tax (which is necessary in SoCal @8.25%)?

Default The A6 is popular in small engines or Diesel. The 4.2 itself is extremely popular in:

A6, A8, S4, RS4, Q7 and so on.
