Going for genuine RS4 wheels, would have thought they are OK...

Default RS4 rims have the wrong offset as the car has blistered wheel arches.

There are Audi OEM RS4 lookalikes for the C6, or replicas. Can't say that they're particularly light.

The only forged OEM Audi rims are the ones that look like vanes in 19", originating from the A8.

Default Not sure what that means, sorry.. but

the wheels I'm going to collect have the same offset as my existing wheels... ET45. The only difference is that they are half an inch wider, and obviously 18" not 16".

Maybe it's a UK/US difference?

Anyway, we are test fitting them when I get there, so if there's any issues I can walk away.

Default 8J will be closer to the inner suspension by 6mm if the same offset

Not sure if that's a problem or not, probably more dependent on the tires. Personally I'd go for sway bars and shocks or coilovers first, keep the stock wheels and just put stickier tires on them. I love the stealth look!

Default My mistake, they are RS4 STYLE not RS4. Also offset is 43

Yes, RS4 rims have an ET of 22 I believe.

Default maybe HR is a good choce except with v2 and v3 you can adjust rebound/compression

you cannot adjust anything except the ride height with HR coilovers... i had mine adjusted to the middle settings but i plan on softening-up for winter driving...

<center><img src="http://web.hisser.org/audi/newrims.jpg"></center><p>It also feels much nicer on the road now.

Will also lower her, Koni FSD and Eibach are on the way.

Also, just come back from a mapping session - 170bhp to 220bhp
