Default Intake manifold runner stuck closed c6 s6

Anyone ever delt with intake manifold runners? I keep getting p2006 code thrown along with other codes cause by this. Air fuel is running rich since it's not getting enough air. Any suggestions on how to proceed with this? Do the work myself or take it to Audi and estimate on how much? Thank you!

You need new intake manifold. The vanes that regulate the length of the intake runners are made of plastic. With age and with the increased temperatures inside the engine bay that the V10 S6 suffers the plastic becomes brittle and the vanes break and jam the whole mechanism. You can also have pieces blocking individual cylinder intake valves.

Here are the cheapest places to buy new intake manifold:

JHMotorsports $1895
Jim Ellis VW $1764 (The part # is the same as Audi 07L133185M

I was afraid this would be the case. Thank you!

Before investing in a new intake manifold, I'd suggest you do a maintenance of your Throttle Body to see if it gets better.
