Interesting anomaly in Audi pricing IMO.

Re: nope, 2.0 secs. A6 is in the low 7s (yes, the V8), S4 can get to the low 5s.
you're dreaming. The A6 is only 200 lb heavier(4145-3936) and has 5 fewer HP. How is it that it would be 2 seconds slower to 60?

Re: The 2007 A6 has 10 MORE hp - that's where the anomaly comes in.
They put FSI in the A6 and the RS4 but not in the S4.
Makes it hard to justify an S4 right now unless you need a manual.

Sorry my bad....
I misunderstood...well the 4.2 is better but its weight is a real handicap compared to the S4. I've driven both and the S4 is a little rocket that is a great deal of fun and the A6 was more of a GT - touring car that is "quick" but not fast.

Yes, but by that logic, an A4 3.2 also handles better than an A6 3.2
at the expense of space, and luxury features.
Did you read my original post?
I'm surprised that in $$$ (A6 3.2 - A4 3.2) >> (A6 4.2 - S4 tip)
