For those you have Iphones and Iphone 3G's. I could never get the visual Voicemail to playback through the Bluetooth, i guess since it never really made a phone call.

Well you will be happy to know that i have been beta testing the New Iphone 3.0 Software and the bluetooth has been upgraded, i can now listen to the visual voicemail over bluetooth.

Of course my MMI Software index is 4160, and the hardware index for the phone is H13, its a Bluetooth module for a Q7. I will try it on my A8 which has a H12 Hardware Inex.

So wait for the 3.0 Software update that is supposed to be released Summer of 09.

And yes it still has that loud sound when dailing out sometimes (in both cars, A8 and Q7.

But always with your first phone after an intial Pair with the vehicle. Its really annoying, for all the money that these cars cost, the bluetooth system should work properly, no poping and loud noises before dailing.

That's good to hear- just yesterday I was trying to listen to a message and had the issue surface. I wish they'd incorperate AD2P as well as full integration via BT. I'm not keen on spending $500-$700 for an AMI setup.

that loud static noise only happens with Iphones, my old motorola and wife's Blackberry don't make noise when calling someone initially.So It's not audi's fault. It's probably apple's fault? Who knows. Visual voicmail update is good to hear now that I have an iphone!!

bzzzzt! My BB8830 does the buzzing in my A6 and both the Q5 and A5 I drove last week.

it will be interesting to see, since that would probably also enable playing music from an AD2P source...
