One more thing I notice that is improved is that the automatic volume control is more reliable and has a much smoother implementation.

Don't know, I used two updates for my 2006 A6: 4F0-906-961-AB followed by 4L0-906-961-H. These updates brought my MMI to Version 41.40, which is a 2007 version.

I did a search for MMI updates and came up with 4F0-906-961-AB to be used in step 1 and then followed by 4L0-906-961-H. I also noticed that 4F0-998-961 is also an MMI update but not sure what it does as it is listed as "reapir Kit" at GenuineVWAudi Parts. Does anyone know anything about 4F0-998-961???

I am currently at 33.6. I am having some connectivity issues with the new Motorola Droid 2 and am having the car upgraded to MMI 46.1 on Monday. I will let you know of my observations.

awsome thanks. The only thing i notice with 36.00 is not more liability release thing and AMI support.
