Default Koni FSDs on S-line springs.

I am thinking of changing oem shocks to Koni FSDs. Any improvement in comfort?

Did a lot of research and i feel that it is a great improvement. Can someone confirm that?

I recently switched to Koni FSDs and they made a significant improvement in both ride and handling. I am running stock springs.

Are those S-line springs or regular?

P.S. How you like H&R swaybar?

I have the regular springs.

The H&R sway bar was also a significant improvement in reducing body lean in the turns.

Listen, while you are there and paying for all that labor... why not just get a set of springs to match the shocks?

Well, my thing is I don’t like S-line suspension: first of all I think oem S-line shocks are too harsh. I don’t know about springs. So that’s why I am trying to change to Koni FSDS first.

Do you think Eibach or H&R springs are better then oem? What would I gane:
1.Maybe a little drop comparing to oem S-line?
2.Would it make the car softer or harder?
3.Improvement in handling?

I also passed on the OEM sport suspension because the reviews all discussed how harsh the ride was.

Confirmed. I'm running on exactly that spec. s-line springs & sway bars, and Koni FSDs.

Better riding than even the stock suspension except for deep potholes. Stock suspension has greater travel, but all-in, the FSDs are still a better set up.

The s-line springs drop the suspension from stock by 25mm, Eibach from stock by 35mm, so only 10 mm diff.

I chose the s-lines so that I stayed OEM, and am happy with the decision.

My car:

Thanks, ACSGP, on the info re: S-line vs. Eibach spring height reduction.
I agree the FSD's are an excellent alternative to OEM dampers.
