Default Launch Control??

Does a 2007 S6 (USA spec) have this capability? I'm too chicken to try it with my own car?

Default Not found on any North American spec Audi to my knowledge. Our warranty period is much longer

and in some cases, the use of launch control a certain number of times in some markets means whatever (shorter) warranty you have, is now void.

Default Alfa style rules in europe - April..

Just back from a 7 week tour of europe and am in love with the alfa styling. I used to love the old alfa too but thees just move me.

So April you seem to be in on these things, any news of value vis-a-vis their re-introduction to this country.

One should think that with GM really going down, see the $30 loss announced yesterday, that they should consider other options, like cars that people want.

Maybe re-badge the alfa to something like the Lexus/Infinity ploy?

Default The designer that has made Alfa a recent success now works for Audi:) But the character

of the cars remain far apart. Variety is the spice of life:-D

Alfa is supposed to be coming back to the US and sold via Maserati showrooms. First the 8c - which uses some Maserati coupe componenets, but it's own shorter and lighter composite chassis. I tried getting on the list, but with only a few hundred coming, you need to be famous and willing to spend far over sticker to acquire one.

Following will be the 159:

The new Spider:

And finally, the replacement for the big luxury oriented 166:

Since GM sold off it's stake in Fiat/Alfa some time ago, they are out of luck.
