Has anyone done this? It improves the look of the car and makes it much more current with the white light shining on the rear license plate.

Do you need the resistor, does it cause the exterior light out warning light to go on?

well according to the site they say:"Bulb will not produce a "Bulb Out" warning in the new Audi's."

I ordered the 1 watt bulb as well. Also, I noted that our assembly are held in with two screws (so I guess we don't have to use the plastic thingie to remove our assembly).

I am also thinking in lines of getting the package for the interior lights as well. Might get that after the license plate light is complete.

Pictures after you are done guys! I have been on the fence thinking about this but I'm not sure how well the white LED will match up with my black exterior. Prob good enough but some picture after you're done would help a lot.
