I remember seeing someone had the write up on installing the LED lights in the front grill of their A6.
Wanting to do this to my car but would like some insight from those who already did this.

hey john look at my parts list... some pointers in there. you can also look for a write up on a grill replacement which shows you how to remove the front bumper

This is not equal to the full S6 conversion. This worked for me because I was not willing to lose my fog lights or buy the S6 headlights.

What does everyone wire the LED's too?? Fogs or sides?? and i guess it maybe different practice in USA to UK???

you can wire to fogs but if i remember correctly onehotavant tried this and had issues with not enough current being drawn by the leds thus this caused a bulb out warning in the dash (for the fogs). however if you run it to the side markers then no problems if you decide to remove the side marker down the road.

i thought UK/Europe versions didnt have side markers? i know for sure European versions dont, not sure about UK.

We don't have side markers, we have "side lights" which i think are also called Street lights???? Just a small wattage bult in the main headlight lense. i figure wiring to these would mean they still worked therefore not triggering the computer bulb out problem and also have the LED's glowing in the small grills by the fogs!!!

I've got the LED's now, £30 from ebay, just need to man up and get fitting!!!
