Lexus RX400H owers make $202K, Porsche $390K, how bout A6 Owners?
Article says that Lexus RX400 Hybrid owners have an average income of $202K. And the buyers of Porsche have an average of $390K income.
What about buyers of the Audi A6 ?
What incomes are we lookin at?
Just curious.

What article? That's a pretty high number. As a general rule, a prudent rule of thumb is to never have more than the equivalent of 3mos. income in cars, so the Lexus RX400H would require ~$170k in income. A 3.2 A6 would require a similar income level, and a 4.2 would be at $220k+. That is assuming a single car for that income level. I generally try to be more conservative than that as there is nothing prudent about buying a luxury car.
I think you will find incomes generally falling around the 3mo rule of thumb.
