I have been a pure GM car driver for all of my life. We are a GM family and always have been. I am currently looking for a new car to commute to work and back (70 miles) and I found a 2004 Audi A6 2.7T (6 speed, v6 twin turbo) for sale locally and cheap ($5200). I have driven a friends A6 2.7 non turbo for a road trip, but that is as far as my experience goes with Audi. It has higher miles(120,000), but the car looks to be in great shape. I am just looking for something that is semi fun to drive and that gets decent gas mileage (better than my 14 mpg highway in my truck). I guess I am trying to figure out if I am going to be repairing this constantly for the next 2-3 years or so or if they are as good of quality as I have heard and shouldn't have any major problems. I realize that it all depends on the use of the car. I know that around this mileage the turbos can start to go, but other than that I haven't really heard of any problems. My brother is a certified mechanic (usually only works on American cars), but between the two of us, we usually figure out how to repair most things so shop costs for most repairs won't be bad.
Any thoughts?

Sorry, for the double post, but I couldn't find the edit button.

The only damage that I could see to the car was the bottom of the front fascia is cracked, and the driver side headlight cleaner nozzle is gone.
