Looking for comments on RAZR V3m phone with 2006 A6......
Need replace the current cell phone. Thinking about Razr V3m from Verizon. Seeking for users comments who has the phone with 2006 A6, good, bad or ugly......
Thanks in advance.

Verizon, oh no!
Verizon cripples bluetooth's OBEX (OBject EXchange) protocols. They do this to compel you to buy things such as ring tones. Your phone will pair OK, but you won't be able to have your phone book sync with the A6. I was so mad about this, I switched to T-Mobile, which works perfectly with the C6 A6.

OBEX is not a provider issue, it's dependent on the phone
I did a lot of research on this as I switched from Cingular to Verizon. I have a C6 A6 Avant. The phone book is "transported" thru bluetooth via "object push", and that ability is dictated by the phone, not the provider.
The Razor V3M does not have object push so Mike is correct. . .no phonebook capability. I got the LG VX5300 and it works just fine. Verizon has a listing of bluetooth profiles on their site here: http://support.vzw.com/how_to_use/bluetooth_car_kit.html
Look at the column called "PB Transfer" to determine whether the phonebook will transfer to your A6.

Thanks all.
I had Treo650 before. Although the PB did not transfer, but "Speed Dial" was transfered under Phon Book on A6, is still holds the true for V3m?

IIRC Verizon asked Motorola to remove OBEX in the V3m for them.
The phone as designed is capable of OBEX. Now if someone can hack it to put that function back in...

Oh those AT... thanks.
However, are you sure you need the car kit to do phonebook on the A6? Because you can definitely use BT to do phonebook on the A4.
