Loud whistle from HVAC?
Hello- My new to me but used 2005 A6 has a loud whistle when the fan speed goes above 4. Everyone who has riden in my car immediately says "what is that noise?". Is this normal? Does anyone else have this problem? I'd hate to make a trip to the dealer if this is normal (which it shouldn't be for a $50K car). Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

Hi - I had the same problem with my 2005 A6. Dealer removed and reseated the pollen filter under warrenty. This took care of the problem we have not heard the noise since.
