Default Manuals

Hi everyone, newbie to this site as just bought first Audi, A6 2008 and I love it. Pretty hands-on mechanically (will probably have to be as the car's done 130k miles). I was wondering if the advertised audi factory manual's worth buying. This is the PDF download for $45. Any advice gratefully received.

If you're not talking about service manuals, the online 08+ manuals are free: Audi Online Owner's Manual

Hi schalliol, I have that manual. I wanted the workshop service manual. It's advertised by www.1000repairmanuals.com. It looks very comprehensive and I wondered if that was a popular choice. We have Haynes manuals here and they're okay but they don't do one for this model.

The official repair manual is the Bentley Repair Manual, which is sold by Robert Bentley Publishers. If you want to DYI maintenance/repair, then this manual is necessary. Not familiar with the website you linked.

I bought the one your speaking of and personally, I think it sucks. I find it extremely difficult to navigate, and lacking a lot of information. I have been able to find more comprehensive information by searching around on the forums and other web sources. I would spend the extra $$ on the Bentley Manual.
