But I also bought mine about 6 motnths ago. It looks like the market is starting to see off lease 05's so you should have more choices than when I bougth mine.

Payments aren't going to kill me, and the reliability is actually pretty good in the 3.2 from what I am reading. High miles don't scare me as I am used to the TB fix at 70k and all the other associated maintenance items.
The price realistically is around 31500, since the dealer gave me about 2k more for my 'trade' than I expected to get. The Amaretto leather is almost impossible to find (at least within 200 mi and within the last three weeks) so I have decided to just do it and be happy with my non-manual left leg saving car. (have an injury from 2hr + traffic days going only 14 mi to work!) Anyway after driving the car it feels fast enough (I previously had a 02' A6 2.7t 6spd) and I am not afraid of passing on the highway in the 3.2.
To be honest, I just want to drive an Audi to work, rather than the 00 mercury sable I have been driving while my leg attempts to heal. Although the Merc has been comfortable, it is so un-engaging I feel as if I have completely 'sold out to the man and given up on life'. Looking forward to driving the Audi each day!
