Anyone know what the last letter in the MMI control serie number stand for?
I need a new one, mine have number 4F1919610 K
I find some with number
4F1919610 P
4F1919610 Q

They look the same, anyone know the difference ?

i was looking for the same info bc my power button is faulty

the letter upgrades means its been slightly refined/updated.
but sometimes it may make them incompatible. sometimes inputs or wires connections change.

for example i know when the shark fin antenna for our c6 became smaller(2006 or 2007) the pn did not fully change just a lettering update but the new update ones physically do not mount correctly

aat some point mmi switched to 3g and the main added a functional toggle and also at some point the color went from grey to black

there is a chance that units w higher letters may not connect right or work 100% and maybe throw a code

im sure a good service tech at a good dealer knows but they see it as they not having any interest in helping u/us unless they get $
