Just did the upgrade tonight. Everything worked perfectly. Took about an hour and a half for both discs.

Now to save up for the AMI retrofit...

Default Sell your old upgrade disk

Hello AUDI friends I Just got a new to me 2005 A6 Canyon red 3.2. I Love this car!

I have all the problems of old MMI software. My question is can the disk be reused or is there some form of vin# lock?

If they can be reused dose anyone want to sell?
If not where do I buy from genuineaudiparts.com Is no help. And don't fell like listening to the dealer explain why the can't or won't help me.

Thanks,

Hey all,

I just bought an 2006 A6 this weekend (Crazy in love with this car). Anyways, I have been doing lots of reading and searching for all related MMI updates. But need a little more guidance, I am current at:
SW: C6-HU 6360 11.9.0 0513

Is 41.40 the latest release of the software? and if so, are the CD Part numbers still:

4F0 906 961 AB 33.60
4L0 906 961 H 41.40

If not, what is the latest version? and CD part numbers I should get? and the real question is WHERE can I get these CDs?

Thanks for your help,

Nick

Note; this is the European versions, but I got the 55.70 version from the local Audi dealer today (13$). It's a 3 CD bundle with the following PN: 4L0 998 961.

Haven't tried it yet, though, as the car's getting some warranty repairs done.

I down loaded mine this weekend and it was a piece of cake. If anyone wants my disc's $15.00 shipping included, first come first serve.(U.S.A only)

Thanks,
