I went back and read some of the posts from the last 3 years about S6 owners who swapped in the MSDS filters and am considering doing the swap, and removing the little air flaps in the airboxes at the same time.
Filters are $175/pair w/free shipping from MSDS.
Anyone else interested in group buy if we can bring it down a bit?

I might be but I would be more interested is what kind of performance increase I could expect.

I could not find any dyno numbers pre/post MSDS filter, but all anecdotal feedback indicated positive results about throttle response, torquier at 4K+ RPMs, and a bit more sound. Same about the airbox flap mod.

Airbox flap mod? are you talking about the little door under the air filter? I have an 05 4.2l c6....parhaps point me in a direction with a write up?

Emailed Marty at MSDS and he's willing to drop it from $175 to $150 w free shipping for a group buy. Just need to figure out the logistics on how to get him payment on one order.

$150 doesn't sound that bad. How many people required for group buy?
