Leaving tomorrow from the SF bay area to Las Vegas - 550 miles one way. I've done this trip for the last 3 years about the same time of the year (my birthday), but in BMW's. This will be the first long road trip for me in this car.

I plan to check tire pressure, oil level, stack up on CD's and munchies.

I just did a 5000 mile round trip from Seattle to Winnipeg and the car was flawless. Runs like a champ and completely comfortable. I would have never taken that trip in my old A4.

I bought mine to drive. So in less then a year my car has gone from Las Vegas to Lake Tahoe, San Diego twice, Grand Canyon twice, Death Valley. These things do great on long drives. I can get about 7 hours of driving on a tank of gas. It's absolutely awesome. Enjoy the ride..
