I want to change out the front grill on my 06 A6. I know there's several choices and I have read that the bumper needs to be removed no matter which route I go. I might as well do some led drls while I'm at it also, how involved is this? I'm kinda leaning towards the S6 grill but also like the one piece grills. Please post some pics of your rides with grill mods to assist me in making this decision. Thanks.

BTW, I did the mod and you will need the spray paint the rear metal bumper guard rail black, otherwise it will look strange with the silver showing through.

BTW, I too like the S6 grille, but you will require the entire front bumper, grille, and foglight grilles, as well as all the LED wiring to make it work. It can get quite pricey. Also, there's a bit of a stigma 'showing' you are an S6 vs. actually being an S6...especially sticking it on the 3.2 version.
