Default New guy. Pictures of the S6.

My dad bought a 2007 Audi S6. I don't have much info but I took some pictures today in 20 degree weather. It was cold but worth it. I also got to take it around the block, what an amazing car. I look forward to learning more about the platform.

Thanks for looking.

Nick

Thank you everyone for the kind words!

One quick question though. Is the tuning of the ECU worth it? My dad asked me about it and researching it shows a gain for 20-30 hp and about 25-30 ft lbs of torque for quite a bit of money?

Thanks again.

If your intentions are to mod, then it is one of the options. As a standalone mod it may be not worth it unless you come across a good deal. The HP you are referrencing is probably highest estimates with 93 gas.

Thank you for the suggestion. It will not be a modded car, that's for sure.

I think the only thing next is a set of wheels for the summer time and winter tires, well for winter. Any good picture threads around?

nice ride...there are a lot of options for an extra set of wheels. i bought a second set for use with winter tires and am very glad that i got separate snow tires rather than all-seasons even though my apartment is now cramped with an extra set! there are a number of aftermarket wheels available from sites like tirerack, and other places online. I chose to stick with factory wheels which can be bought from existing owners who switch theirs out:

Im sure you can also get a second set from audi. Good luck.
