Default New Suspension - Its awesome!!

Since I got the A6, I've found the car to be too boaty, didn't have the tight feel around turns etc. Maybe it was because I came from a 3 series with sports package, but I was quite disappointed with the way the A6 handled.

So I ordered the Koni FSD shocks and Eibach pro-kit springs (http://www.namotorsports.net/detail....cd/KO2150.4003 - total of $884; actually I ordered through ebay and got the Bing 8% discount on that price). The specs indicate that the car is lowered 1.2 inch. This has reduced the ugly gap between the fender and the tire (more so on the rear wheels) and the car feels TIGHT and handles so much better. The lowered car gives it a much aggressive stance (I didn't want it to resemble a rice rocket) and gets lots of looks on the road!!

Highly recommend. I can also take some pictures if someone is interested!!

And what was the cost of installation if you went to a shop to have it done?

Around here it is about 6 hrs of labor and the shops usually charge $80-90/hr.

go to live.com (or bing.com) -create cashback account - then search for 'Roomba'. One of the first top links will say '8% cashback on ebay'. Click that link to go to eBay - then search for anything (spring/shocks). U have to use the 'Buy Now' link. Pay using paypal (and it will tell u there how much u will be getting for that purchase). Let me know if you get stuck or anything.

Installation was $360 including alignment. The alignment will be done in 2 weeks - apparently the new springs take time to settle. Got it done at www.sonicms.net. He initially quoted me $430, but then agreed to do it for $360.
