Default New tires for my 2005 A6

I bought new Continental Extreme Contact tires from Tire rack.
I got them installed at walmart, for $11.50 per tire with lifetime
balance and rotation. That included unmounting old tire and then mounting
new tires.
Everyone else around here like Firestone, Discount wanted $25 per tire.
I watched them and they did a good job and torque down those lugnuts and not use impact to tighten them. Car runs so smooth.
Am very happy!!

Price was reasonable, like $592 delivered.
Reviews looked pretty decent.

That has to be a 2 tire price, but I can understand that. I would run ExtremeContacts on my 2002 A4 while I had it. Loved them. Now I have SportContacts on my S6 so I'm not sure what I'll go with once these need to be replaced.

No, it is price for 4 tires. $133 per tire.
i thought it was good price. This wax labelled as closeout
From tire rack. Walmart charged me $56 including
Tax with new valve stems and lifetime balance
And rotation. Not bad and they torqued the
Wheels down. Runs so smooth.

I just got a set of 4 for $160 per tire including mounting at my local shop today and I thought I got a good deal. I wonder why Tirerack has them as closeouts?

Default Regarding tires

Not sure why tire rack has these tires as closeouts.
I paid $592 delivered and Then $56 for intallation, life time balance and rotation. Total $648 including taxes, shipping etc, ie.$162
$160 per tire is a better price if it includes taxes etc.

This is a very good price indeed. What size is this for?
Same tire for my 19" is over $220 a piece plus shipping.

Mine are 17 inch rim, that is why they are cheaper.

Yeah, if that is for 4 tires then that is a great price.
As to the closeout I am not sure what is going on there.
