Default New Wheels.... w/ Question

05' 3.2 lowered with H&R springs
I have a set of 19x8 35-offset
I am leaning towards a 255/35/19 tire..
But, Will I get away with a 255/40/19 for the extra rubber?

opinions are greatly appreciated..

Thnx in advance..

I want exactly what you have now. What are the specs on those wheels and tires in your picture. That's a very sleek setup.

I think a 255 will be too wide for the 8" rim but it also depends on the look you want. Recommended rim width for a 255 tire is 9".

I have had 255/40/18 on 8 inch rims for the last 4 1/2 years without a problem.

Not that there will be a problem, I just don't believe that that is the recommended rim width for a 255 tire.
