No cooled seats on a C6? Why not?

IMO, to keep distance between the A6 and A8
With an available partial leather dash, adaptive air suspension, adaptive cruise control, the exact same 4.2L V8, etc. the A6 already is pretty close to the A8. I have a feeling the uptake on a $1,500 ventilated seat option would be pretty small for the A6 anyway.

Ouch, you better hope Lexus owners don't visit this board :)
I've seen many flame wars erupt on other boards regarding the ES-Camry connection. People don't seem to want to believe that these are probably two of the most similar models being sold by two separate subs, one luxe and the other economy, under the same non-American parent company. Of course, Ford and GM are the true masters of selling the same cars under different badges.

I think cooled seats more important than heated seats
I also wish the C6 had cooled seats. When the car has been in the sun and the seats are warmed I can never cool my back off no matter how low the A/C is set. However, while heated seats are nice in the winter, you eventually warm up as the car does and you body heat warms up the seats.
I have had long grueling summer vacation drives where you never cool off and your back is drenched all day long. IMHO, this is a more desireable option yet everyone offers heated seats but only a few offer cooled seats. Wonder why? Likely more expensive but I would at least like to have the choice as an option.
