Trying to convince someone to buy an '05 or '06 A6 4.2 (possibly S-Line) over an E500.

While i know that comparo has been beaten to death, i am just looking to compare the AWD systems.... anyone know where I can find this info?

The 4Matic keeps the car under control better than the Quattro system. It is easier to make my A6 spin wheels and skid than it was with my MB. (Same snow tires on both.) April suggested that it might be that the 4Matic system is more aggressive in controlling the car, and I think she may be right.

Now for all you guys who can't stand to hear that Audi technology isn't the very best in absolutely every way, please save it. This is one little thing that the MB did better (and believe me, I'm no fan of MB).
