Nearly 4 months after ordering this bad boy, we took the train down to Carlsbad this past Sunday and picked up our new daily driver... a 2010 A6 Avant Prestige in Night Blue Pearl over black. We ordered the 18" sport package, rear side airbags and wheel locks.
We took delivery with less than 9 miles on the car and absolutely love it so far. We're taking it easy (break in period) but even under light load the torque of the S/C motor is awesome. The ride/handling is amazing and while the steering is a little light for my tastes, I'm very, very happy so far.
Big kudos to Jeff Ho and the group at Hoehn Audi. They made this entire experience a joy and treated us as valued customers. Moreover, today is my wife's birthday and they did everything they could to make this a very special birthday present. If you're in the market for a new Audi... give Jeff the chance to take care of you and tell him the Asis family referred you.
Here's some photo's... I apologize that they're not the best but we tried to snap a few quick photo's while programming the Homelink.

Thanks everyone.
Sporkpa - we looked at damn near everything under the sun before selecting the A6 Avant, including the X5. Our main criteria was the ability to put the dog crate behind the rear seats without folding the seats down. Sadly, none of the BMW products fit that bill. And frankly, my opinion and only my opinion, the A6 Avant is more fun to drive than any of the BMW products unless you step up to the turbo V8 or M versions... and then the price points are pretty different.

Thank you. We really went back and forth about the sport package. I'm already really glad we did it. The ride remains pleasant without the "flinty" feel we got in the A6 sedan with 19" sport package we test drove. It's no R8 but it's surprisingly fun to drive.
