Default Out with the old, in with the new

After a 16 week wait for a factory order (and I thought the car industry was in trouble!) I get my new A6 Avant tomorrow to replace my 6 year old A6 1.8T Sport saloon. This will be my 4th Audi (an A4 and another A6 saloon) in a row and I cannot see a single reason to change to another brand.

We get many more options with the A6 than the US. Have gone for Quartz Grey with Black Milano leather (leather is part of the SE spec along with Auto dimming review mirror and bluetooth mobile phone prep) Audi had a special deal going with the 2.0 TDie engine (136bhp)which gave the SE spec and Comms Pack low (DVD Sat nav but not the latest one with hard drive) for no cost over the standard version.

For anyone buying an Audi in SW London/Surrey Walton Audi have been faultless with the Sales Exec phoning me every week to update me on the order status. From previous experience their aftersales is just as good as well

Sounds like you are across the pond from me but we have a lot in common. I am taking delivery on June 5th of a 2009 Quartz Gray A6 Avant 3.0t Quarrto. It is a Prestige Package car with Cold Weather Package added. I just sold my 2003 Dolphin Gray 3.0 A4 yesterday. I am as gitty as a school girl going to the prom. Congrats on the new member of the family... Keep me updated on the new girl. I am sending mine into the window tinter and clear bra shop on Monday morning. Have a great week.

Congrats on the new baby. Happy and safe motoring. I wish we'd get the diesels here, maybe one day.

Congrats on the new car. I'd kill for a 6-speed 3.0 TDI.

Looks very similar!

Unfortunately it is raining here today but I am totally over the moon about this car. AMI is a must. Dealer was excellent up to the end, will be getting 5s when Audi UK call. Surprised to discover on picking the car up that my wife had arranged with the dealer for a personalised (vanity) plate

Thanks, you have a great weekend. BTW - the photos look great, I love seeing the old school next to the new school. Talk to you soon.
