I've just coded my A6, via VCDS, to show the rear parking sensor view when selecting reverse gear.
However, each time I select reverse the MMI display shows a scrambled picture but gives the option of "Rear View". If selected then the correct display shows.





Is there a way to go straight to the correct display on gear selection and avoid the scrambled picture?

It's my understanding that the "parking sensor" does not provide a view - it provides an auditory beep - the car has to have a back up camera to get a visual?

I never mentioned having a visual display because I don't have a reversing camera.

I want to know how to stop the scrambled display and get the parking sensor display, as in the second photo, when I select reverse gear.

What coding do you have for module 4F(parking aid)? Also confirm that the car doesn't think it has a rear view camera which is module 6C.

I don't have a rear camera but may have coded for one.
