Can someone tell he how to post multiple pictures using the "Optional Link URL"?

for multiples you have to use the tags <img src="address">

Please explain further
Does that format go into the "Optional Link URL" box or into the "Link Text" box? Do you seperate each picture statement with any punctuaation on the same line?
