When the wheels look clean, so does the rest of the car even when dirty. I am a fanatic about having clean wheels. What is the point in spending money on nice wheels if the are not clean.
My decision on purchasing new wheels takes into consideration how nice they look and how easy are they to keep clean in addition to weight, strength and mfg. reputation.

My choice would be the first picture.

I like the 5 spoke. But depends how it looks on the car. Maybe is better not to see to much through.

...better the handling is with light weight wheels, accleration, and braking, and wear/tear on your suspension.

The wheels your looking at are not much different then the stock wheels....except for looks. If you want looks then go for it. They are both GREAT looking wheels. I prefer the least number of spokes, myself, for cleaning purposes. DPE also makes great packages for Audi, with the correct offset for staggered fit.
