Is it possible to make DRL stay on while headlights are on without splicing any wires? Maybe via VCDS?

You should be able to do this via coding to the Central Electronics module and change the car to RoW (Rest of World) mode to have the DRLs stay on when the headlights are on.

0xxxxx?: Country
1 = Rest of World (RoW)
2 = Northern European Countries (Sweden/Finland/Norway/Denmark)
3 = USA
4 = Canada

So change from 0xxxxx3 to 0xxxxx1

Raj, my custom DRL strip are modified and wired to where the stock DRL bulb is next to the low beam. I've just tried what you've mentioned in Central Electronics and still the same. The DRL goes off when the headlight goes on. Any other ideas?

Since you've customized the lighting in the car, I'm not sure if be able to assist much. Good luck and let us know what fixes you find.

Since I don't have the stock LED DRL strip... are you able to tell me how that is wired?

Raj, were you referring to the C6 DRL strip that most C6's have or was this code represents the DRL as in the DRL bulb located next to the low beam?

The C6 DRL strip you are referring to is the LED DRL on the post facelift C6s (09-11). I was referring to the standard DRL bulb. Although I'd assume the coding would work for both since, the circuit is defined as a DRL and should be able to be modified as such.

I see now. My headlight housing did not have any DRL strip, it only has the DRL bulb. I modified an aftermarket LED strip into my housing and wired it to the existing DRL bulb circuit so it would act as the new DRL. I tried the code the day that you mentioned this and it didn't work. I will try again soon to double check.
