Default Possible sunroof/shade rattle?

I think I may be one step closer to finding the rattling noise that's been driving me nuts for months. I think it's related to the sunroof and or sliding shade. I don't hear it when the sunroof is open all the way (which hides the shade all the way as well..) I'm thinking either the sunroof outer rubber seal is what's 'squeaking' when fully closed and/or some component of the sliding shade. When I slide the shade back manually, when it's about half way back I hear a slight momentary click noise. Guessing that's normal but not sure.

Anyone run across this? Thx to all.

Yes, they did it for free because my car was still covered under the extended CPO warranty at the time of the repair.

If yours is still under warranty they should do it for free.

RANT : I'v just about had it with f-----g Audi. Went in to my local dealer to have the rattles checked out and they're telling me my car is out of CPO. Just double check and it's not. Then they're telling me even it was under CPO they would NOT cover fixing rattles even WITH known TSB. I walked out.

WTF is with these dealers?! First words out of there mouths is "here's what we're going to charge you for...."

What's my recourse? Have a call in to a rep at Audi Cust Service who helped me when I first bought this 'truth in engineering' CPO rattle ride from another worthless dealer. Thx in advance for any suggestions

Update and new rant: Audi NA Cust Svc confirmed that my CPO is indeed in place. But, they won't back me with the dealer to perform the work. What BS !!!! Audi corp and dealers really s--k

So, can anyone confirm what the 'special lubricating paste' is referred to in the above TSBs? and where to buy in the US?

thanks

I've seen Audi documents refer to DuPont GPL 205 Krytox General Purpose Grease, I have a small tube ans swear by the stuff. I even use it to stop squeaky interior panels, etc. Read up on it and you'll be surprised to find out this is some crazy high tech NASA grade stuff
