I haven't had personal experience with this, but I've read that it's easy to get out of that
situation--just tap the brakes or apply the hand brake. I think it's in the manual too.

No I did not say that.....
I said my Audi, I have had several. The particular one was a C5 A6. I don't know how the S6, new technology, would behave. However as the Quattro systems are similar and mechanical I suppose it is possible that it would behave the same way.

If the original video came from a BMW "training" event, then they have prior history
of rigging tests in their favour - such as running the Audis on almost bald tires with less than normal pressure as a way to reduce traction in some demos;-)
