Rear seat legroom

I've had my A6(Canyon Red\Beige\3.2) for 5 days now and am really enjoying it. It was delivered the day after we received nearly 2 feet of snow so the Quattro is coming in handy. The saelsman had to come to the house in a Jeep to pick me up. They really wanted the sale for end of month\year.
My only complaint so far is the lack of rear seat leg room. I'm 6'4" so the front seat is back quite a ways but the legroom seems to be even less then my old A4. It's not that big a deal since there's usually only two of us in the car anyway but for a fairly large car I'd expect a little bit more room.
Anybody else think the rear leg room is a bit skimpy?

The BMW 5 series, Volvo S80 and Mercedes E class all have about an inch less.
Front legroom is around 41 inches for both the Audi and BMW, while the S80 and Mercedes have another extra inch.
A B6 A4 has 34 inches of legroom in the rear, and 41 inches up front. The B5 A4 about an inch less in the rear.

April,
I like your tag line under the picture of the snow plow ...
"Drive it like you can fix it!"
But I like the one that a service writer at the local Audi dealer said to me as he was handing the keys to a Boxster Loaner ....
"Drive it like you stole it!"
Oh and the snowplow thing was just a lil haha, not tryin to knock the Alfa

One of the things I liked about our 2001 A6 was the fact that it had more rear-seat legroom than my 2003 Jaguar S-Type. I find that the 2005 A6 has even more room. It also has a larger trunk than the 2001 A6. I cannot figure out how they were able to increase both the rear-seat legroom and the size of the trunk. For a car that is only 193 inches long they seem to provide a lot of interior space. You may need to go to a Lexus 430 to get more room.

we said they were, "burning gas and killing bugs!"
I put up that Alfa sig simply because I don't have the advantages of QTR ;-)

I've never ridden in a C5 A6 so I was curious how it compared. I do like the trunk size. With the seats down it's just enormous. Like I said it's not that big a deal. I'd rather be in the drivers seat any way and most of my freinds are under six feet tall. We do also have an LS430 so maybe I'm just a little jaded when it comes to leg room. Too bad the LS isn't quite as engaging to drive. Maye we should have traded the LS in for an A8L and had the best of both.
