Have just sold my car and looking for an Audi again. Could someone here please tell me if the 2011 will be a complete redesign?

Haven't looked at this site for a couple of months, so pardon if the issue has been addressed multiple times before

According to some sources, the A6 is not due for a full redisign untill the 2012 model year. But the car did get a facelift in 2009.

Will the 2012 be available in September of 2011? I never can remenber when Audi releases the next year of cars.

When the C6 (2005) came out it was released in the US in November of 2004.

The C7 A6 will be coming out in calendar year 2011 (spring in Europe, spring or summer in Africa, summer or fall in Asia, Australia and South America and fall in North America) for model year 2012.

Rumor has it that the all Audi vehicles on the C7 platform will have the fourth generation of Audi's Aluminum Space Frame (ASF IV for short). This has NOT yet been confirmed.

IMO, there is a 50-70% chance that ASF technology is about five to ten years away for Audi vehicles on the C platform (due to the very high production volumes of vehicles on the C platform and the very high cost of the ASF).

The chance that all Audi vehicles on the C platform will receive ASF technology beginning with the seventh generation of the C platform (C7, where it would receive ASF IV if it gets the ASF technology at all) is 30-50% (again, IMO). If this happens, then it would solely be due to the fact that the ASF technology has been around for about 16 years now (and around for about 18 years when the C7 A6 comes out next year).
