removing rear sway bar

I've completely unbolted the rear sway bar, and is loose sitting on the exhaust pipes, but it seems I can't seem to find enough room to take it out?
For those of you who have removed the RSB successfully, do I need to drop the exhaust/mufflers? (a job i'm not willing to do myself)
Or is there another way i'm not thinking of to get this RSB out?

The exhaust holders at the end have to be removed (2 nuts) - even after that, the bar needs wiggling to come out; you need to get the angle right. I know, i've been there thinking there is no way this one (in my case oem bar) can come out of there - but it does.
