OK -- so long story short, messed up front bumper, removed it, had it stripped & resprayed -- bill about 600 bucks. Body shop did an EXCEPTIONAL job on the paint... but look at these pics. Crap. My wife is not bothered by it, but I am. What would you do?
Problem is, I just took them the bumper, they painted by color code and VIN. They didnt have the car to match (i know flame away but...)... So, if I want them to respray a darker shade, I'll prob have to pay unless they decide to be very cool. I figured car was new enough and in good shape enough to not be an issue, I've done this with my land rover fender flares and its always been spot on or very very close. Never been an issue before, last one I did was a green metallic 4 year old LR3 and it was FINE.
So -- take a look. Should I take it back to the bodyshop and pay to have resprayed?

It doesn't look like the same color at all... especially in picture #4. Whether it's the paint they used or the machine used to mix the paint, I can't say, but I definitely would not be happy.
When I sold my last car, the salesman put some kinda device up to the paint to see if it was the original paint. I don't need a machine to tell me that the bumper doesn't have the original coat of paint on it!
I wouldn't accept it.

Since Audi usually has original paint chip samples of the color..I'd start there. BTW, very little flaming happens in this forum.
