Replacing 4.2 crank sensor

Replacing 4.2 crank sensor
Hey all,
Trying to replace a crank\engine speed sensor on a 2005 A6 4.2. BAT engine. I can't quite see but looks like there is a heat sheild above it with at least 1 screw. Can't see anything jacking car up and taking FL wheel off, and can barely get my arms let alone any tools in from the top. Moved the resevoir and the hose coming off the rocker cover. Any tips or tricks appreciated.
