Waited 7 months... was going to get a refund of $1600 paid in 9.06 for LoJack Early Warning. Audi advocate called 4.6.07 and said Audi MV isnt refunding anything and blamd LoJack. Audi MV F & I said LoJack Early Warning notified you immediately when they sold the accessory and that it worked with the factory keyless ignition and car switch blade remote/key. Wrong!
The truth is that LoJack Early Warning that works with basic LoJack will call you 1-1.5 hours when auto is moved, doesnt integrate with stock remote, uses its own remotes, and...get this...deactivates itself without warning IF you don't answer LoJack call and/or call LoJack back that day. So you never know if you missed a call or if it is really on.
I notified Audi MV 2 weeks into new S6 that I didn't like the remotes and the LoJack Early Warning wasnt at all what Ryan in Audi MV F & I portrayed. My auto could be in Tiajuana in 1.5 hours and had it a few false alerts.
I documented 19 calls, 7 sticky notes on desks, had unit uninstalled, sent emails and not one call was returned and Audi MV passed the buck to LoJack and blamed them for no refund.
Given Audi's poor CS, specifically Tammy, and Ryan misrepresenting the LoJack Early Warning system as LoJack authorized agent, I hold Audi MV responsible for a refund.
I have an 04 A6T Quattro Sport off lease this year, Own 07 S6, traded 06 A6 Quattro Sport, convinced family to buy A4 convertible Sport, and coaxed best friend to buy Audi not Lexus. Always gave 10 on CSI even if not a 10. What say you?

in reality it did not work as the dealer claimed prior to the sale? Did you read any of the LoJack literature prior to purchase? How is Audi of America tied up in this? Or is this a dealer customer rep (Audi advocate)?
If the literature claimed one thing but delivered another, then your beef seems to be with LoJack - and having the dealer on your side is a plus. If the dealer verbally claimed something else not backed up by LoJack literature, then your beef appears to be with the dealer - but without something in writing or a third party who heard the exchange, this may be a tad tricky.

If you communicated with all those people in the same garbled, unfocused, confusing way that you've laid out your issues here then I can see why the wheels are moving slowly/not at all.
Still, they should have taken better care of you.
