OEM = Error free, plug & play.
A nice white light but not like a search light.

If anyone is interested and since we are posting License plate LEDs - error free - bright crisp clean License Plate LEDs:
LED License Plate Housings Crisp White-Error Free-Plug and play Fits: Many Audi Models ? deAutoKey
I fitted this type to my Avant, far too bright. I took them out after one week and fitted Audi LED's.

Do you have the Audi part number you used?

It is preference, many people like the brighter light vs the dimmer LEDs.

raj99 is working and testing some new LEDs for your car - we won't ruin the surprise until he is done testing, but we can get something that is a little less bright and far cheaper than OEM so there is something for everyone's preference.

Stay tuned.

Thank you

If I knew they existed for my car I would have went with the oem reason I got Those were because they are 6000k and one year warranty and a USA seller. Where did you purchase your OEM lights from and do you know the temperature of the light out I couldn't see it anywhere. I am interested in making the reverse lights bright would it be as simple as swapping out a bulb does anyone know ?

The part numbers are on the led housings if you look close enough

Left side light 4H0943021
Right side light 4H0943022

Hope that helps and the ones I got were error free and comes with one year warranty so if anything happens to them I will replace with the stock oem LEDs like Roy did

Part Numbers - 4H0943021, & 4H0943022
There are only two LED's in each light with a small magnifier over each LED.

I got mine off ebay.

The A6 refresh started with the '09 model year.

Default Finally going to post pics

Hey everyone i finally managed to get some lights in my self. I did the trunk first. I did not disconnect the trunk light from the connector at first but eventually figured that out and replaced the bulb. You have to make sure the prongs are making full contact with the LEDs other wise it won't work trust me i thought i blew a fuse or something. Then i went on about changing the vanity mirror lights

and the glove box light

now i was going to tackle the rear dome lights i pryed it from the side facing the rear of the car where the springs were located. I had to pry on the edges a bit to get it out. Once i disconnected it from the harness i brought it inside the house for inspection. To my surprise it was not the same as raj's rear lights

i couldn't pry the trim or anything my lights were different.

No way of prying this lol but it was pretty easy to swap the bulbs out

So this is what i did

Push in twist the old bulb and reverse process to put the new one in

Same thing here on the right side

I still have to do the front dome and the puddle lights i am going at this slow this is my second time doing something to the car i have only changed tail lights on it and i am not inclined or breaking it if i think i don't know what i am doing. I will update this post as i get the bulb in. Snow everywhere can't do the puddle lights till it melts

Does anyone else have different rear dome lights? Just curious
