Default S6 LED DRL's

I know this topic has been discussed quite a few times. Does anyone know what is the best place to buy the DRL's?

genuineaudiparts.com has them for $256 x 2 (OEM)- best option, but probably the most expensive. I don't plan on buying the s6 bumper and will just have to get these to fit on the existing bumper.

I looked at tmtuning.com and their hella alternative, but feel that it is not long enough - it might look lost on the car. They are charging $256 + $40 (shipping for me).

is using $40 set of PILOT L.E.D. GRILLE LIGHTS - PART # CZ153W. You cannot view the pics until u join the site (I've uploaded one pic from there)

Has anyone explored the Pilot lights? Any other options? I think the key is to not have the lights look substandard - that will just ruin the show of the car.

How about this? http://umnitza.com/umnitza-aries-aud...ht-p-5652.html

I love the guys at Umnitza, and they look to have a decent product. Hope it works for you.

Has anyone tried the umnitza? how do they compare to the OEM's?

Found a DIY for the install: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...hlight=umnitza

They actually seem to look nice in the pic.

http://www.umnitza.com/umnitza-wirin...es-p-1230.html can be used and tapped into the homelink system so they are always on.

Wow, that looks like some work. I had no idea. Do-able, but more than I would think. Good luck if you decide to do it.

I have seen all of these solutions to going for S6 DRL's. But has anyone tried retrofitting any of these in the stock (non-sline) front bumper?

The Umnitza Aries seems to be the most OEM like solution out there. The rest seem somewhat "aftermarket" in the sense that they arent OEM like.

If anyone has any experience installing the Aries replica LED's fill us in!

Otherwise I will be the guinea pig and go for it!

They did not appear to have a dimming control for when you are driving during the night vs. the day. All oem Audi Drls have a dimming function to comply with EU DRL light regulations.

Maybe so, but retrofitting the S6 DRL's one wouldn't go through installing the sensor or module requirred for dimming control. It made make the cost of LED DRL's run you easily over $500. That is a little ridiculous no matter how good they make your car look.
