If it is shallower than the finish.
Mask the area off.
Wrap some 2000 wet & dry around a small block of wood (about 1"x1"x1/2") when the scratch is removed, change to 3000 wet & dry then finish off with very fine cutting paste on a cloth.
Providing that you don't go through the lacquer all will look fine.
