Still trying to wrap my head around taking out a 7 year loan on a high mileage 250,000KM car then shovelling in a ton of maintenance parts only to break the engine because it was not compression tested or properly diagnosed in the first place.

I always pay cash for all my cars and I haven’t broken an engine yet. We have very different buying and maintenance experiences. I bought my A6 3.0T at 22,000KM and I just bought another 3.0T at 62,000KM and it purrs like a kitten. I am looking for a CREC since some folks have been falsely influenced to sell them cheap 😉

Keep guessing. With a little bit of luck, you may find the answer inside your sealed boxes.

What is the failure diagnosis of your CREC? Holes in the cylinders or bent / burnt / broken valves or ?

Pictures please so that folks can learn from your experience and best assist you with your repair process 👍

Default Godspeed Kelisko, i apreciate what u have done bro

Hi brooo, i can't believe you sold the A6 C6 with ONLY 600 $, here in ROMANIA it cost at least 3500€-4500€, some of them are even expensive... maybe 7500€, it depends of the equipment, engine, sound/music... etc.
I am also among those guys that Audi screw up, paid over 13K € on a 7K € car, the engine was ok thank god but other knick-knack ****s ate my nerves and my cash, like the electric wiring from the engine bay... that big loom that goes from the ECU to all the sensors, injectors (6), alternator, tandem pump, secondary air pump... and so on, all that loom cost me 1100€ no shipping fees but at first they tried to charge me / scam for 2000€ can you believe the nerve of that guy ( the shop manager fired him soon after that, not my doing )
so now again DA CAPO, oil change after 8000 KM / 4970 Miles, new battery 110ah, air/ oil/ gas filters, new head xenon bulb lights... my baby it's a 2.4 mpi, with a quattro drive and a spare heart ( engine ), i think i'll sell both engine and buy a supercharged 3.0( tfsi), I HAVE A BIG PLAN 🤪🤪🤪✌🏻

Good plan. Maintain them properly and these engines are bullet proof 👍
